Pegram Places Third in Formula Xtreme After Two Restarts

It was a stormy weekend at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. But despite the weather and two restarts it was Larry Pegram, of the LeoVince Foremost Insurance Ducati Team taking another third place finish, his third this season. The race at Road America was the sixth of the ten-race series. Pegram is currently in third place in the point's standings with 167 points, just three points away from second overall.

Larry Pegram, of the LeoVince Foremost Insurance Ducati Team finished fifth overall this past weekend at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California. The race at Infineon was the fourth of the ten race series. Pegram is currently in third place overall with 111 points. Pegram started the race on the second row of the grid after qualifying in seventh with a lap time of 1:38.357. He was in seventh place for the first four laps, and then he moved up to sixth on lap five where he stayed until lap 16 when one of the riders ahead of him dropped out with mechanical problems.

In the second race of the season at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama, Larry Pegram, of the LeoVince Foremost Insurance Ducati Team finished 4th overall.

Larry Pegram Will Be A Guest Instructor At American Supercamp

Larry Pegram, of the LeoVince Pegram Racing Ducati Team, will be helping out as a guest instructor at American Supercamp. The two-day motorcycle training session will be held indoors in Oregon, Ohio. The classes this weekend are sold out and not open to public spectators. The American Supercamp is a motorcycle technique school owned and operated by Danny Walker. Walker is a former professional dirt tracker and professional AMA 250cc Grand Prix road racer. The schools focus on teaching riders of all ages better bike control skills utilizing Honda CRF100 motorcycles.

Salminen Retains His Perfect Score Card In Italy

Eight rounds into the 16-round Enduro 1 world championship John Salminen of the KTM Factory Team has a perfect score card – 200 points from eight consecutive victories. It doesn't get any better than that. The Finnish supremo's two clear victories this weekend in the GP Leovince of Italy give him a stranglehold on the championship standings as he continues to underline his total dominance in the E1 class. Half way through the season its difficult to imagine that another rider can close the gap on the outstanding Finnish rider who returned this season from the USA to compete again in the world championship circuit.

KTM Enduro Factory Team Pumped With Confidence For Italy

The KTM Enduro Factory Team goes to the Grand Prix Leovince of Italy pumped with confidence and hoping for podiums in all three classes. According to team boss Fabio Farioli, the KTM riders are entitled to both. "We have excellent riders and they can do the job," Farioli said before leaving for Borno in Italy's Lombardy. "This is like a home race for us." The team, although made up of riders from Finland, Spain, Italy and France, has its headquarters in Italy and enjoys competing before the enthusiastic Italian fans. Since the last round in Portugal the KTM riders, according to Farioli have been "training, training, training" – all in their various home countries.
