	Hammers Injury Update 01 April 2008 Following the crash in heat 11 at Belle Vue last night involving Andreas Jonsson and Leigh Lanham the Club is awaiting news from both riders. Jonsson flew back to his native Sweden this morning and on his arrival is going to have his hands examined. His has nail damage to one hand and has possibly broken a finger. 	Hammers Tame The Panthers 29 March 2008 A resounding victory against the Peterborough Panthers on Friday evening was the reward of some extraordinary work by the Lakeside track staff to get this Craven Shield fixture on. The match saw the Hammers side dominate proceedings from the very first heat. The initial staging of that race was stopped on the second lap when the Panthers No.2 Zdenek Simota took a tumble on the exit to the second bend.
