The KTM 990 Super Duke Battle made another big impression on BSB fans at Snetterton this past weekend. In good conditions there was even more bar-to-bar racing with some impressive lap times by the leading riders and close fought racing all through the field. Saturday afternoons race was the first of the meeting with 22 riders on the start grid. The conditions were slightly overcast and at one point it looked like there may have been the first wet race of the series but the dark clouds were soon swept away by the fairly strong winds.
The inaugural round of the KTM 990 Super Duke Battle made a booming start at Silverstone this past weekend. Supporting the third round of the British Superbike championship (BSB), crowds at the historic grand prix circuit couldn’t miss the presence of this brand new one-make series - the resonating sound of 22 thundering 990cc V-twins blasting away from the grid was simply intoxicating.
Following the release of the provisional permanent entry lists by the series organisers, the promise of exciting, closely fought action in the supporting programme to the 13 rounds of country’s premier motor sport series, the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, is a certainty.
