Focused Events KTM Super Duke Battle Round 2 & 3 Donington
29 May 2008
Rounds two and three of the Focused Events KTM Super Duke Battle took place this bank holiday weekend alongside the British Superbike series at Donington Park. Strong winds and rain made conditions difficult but even so the crowds saw some close and very entertaining racing. Making his debut in the Battle was Richard Cooper, riding for the SJB Racing team. He immediately made an impact at the top of the field, qualifying in an impressive second place just behind series leader David Wood on the Art of Racing machine. Completing the front row was Kelvin Reilly of Inmoto Corse and Ed Smith of the Gear4 team.

Pirelli Race Report Bennetts BSB - Thruxton
21 April 2008
Shane Byrne transferred pole position into race win to claim his fourth win at Thruxton Circuit on his return to Ducati (20th April). The move to a Pirelli control tyre for 2008 provided a frenetic and close-fought opening race of the season. With a level playing field in terms of rubber, it was left to individual teams to select a favourable compound around the fast and abrasive 2.356mile Hampshire circuit. In race two Cal Crutchlow looked to be in dominant form, making the early running in the search for his debut victory, as he led the field for the first 12 laps. However, the sheer grunt of the new Ducati 1098 proved too much for Crutchlow and Shane Byrne expertly bided his time before making his move for the lead on his Airwaves Ducati on the 13th lap. A rejuvenated Michael Rutter on the North West 200 Ducati, left his passing manoeuvre until lap 18 to claim third position ahead of Leon Haslam.

Haslam At The Double To Maintain Title Bid
23 September 2007
Leon Haslam maintained his outside hopes of winning the Bennetts British Superbike crown with a penultimate round double victory at his local Donington Park circuit on a day of problems for the leading duo of Ryuichi Kiyonari and Jonathan Rea. Riding the Airwaves Ducati, Haslam was running fourth on an opening lap led by Chris Walker from Rea and the impressive Tom Sykes, but that was soon to change as the Derbyshire rider picked off places to be duelling for the lead with Rea.

KTM 990 Super Duke Battle Rounds 7 & 8
05 September 2007
The KTM 990 Super Duke Battle rolled into sun-kissed Cadwell Park for a Bank Holiday double-header. In great conditions, there was even more bar-to-bar racing and some impressive lap times by the leading riders. Saturdays qualifying session saw Championship leader Pauli Pekkanen (Hualto-Kaksikko Racing) qualify in pole position, with Francis Williamson (SJ Racing) just three-tenths of a second behind. KTM 990 Super Duke - Battle Round 6 - Mallory Park
01 January 2000
After torrential rain and a very difficult few days for everyone in the BSB paddock, the KTM 990 Super Duke Battle picked up where it left off at Donington MotoGP with another belter of a race this past weekend at Mallory Park. All qualifying on Saturday was cancelled due to the terrible weather conditions. This meant that the Battle riders had just one 20 minute free practice session on Saturday afternoon and one 15 minute session on Sunday morning. The weather also resulted in the planned second Battle race of the day on Sunday being cancelled due mounting time schedule pressures.
