Leok & Priem Battle Hard in Portugal

Kawasaki Racing Team’s Tanel Leok and Manuel Priem scrap it out at round three of the FIM MX1 World Championship at Agueda. Hot and sunny weather is warmly welcomed for round three of the FIM Motocross World Championship at Agueda in Portugal just one week after the mud and rain of the Spanish GP in Bellpuig. Although the conditions are much better than at round two, KRT riders Tanel Leok and Manuel Priem are still forced to battle hard for every point in two gruelling motos on the very technical Agueda circuit.

Sébastien Pourcel had a great weekend in Castelnau de Lévis where he won both heats and collected the third GP win of his career at the French round of the world MX3 motocross championships.

Suzuki Endurance Racing Team Take Pole Position At The Doha 8 Hours

Vincent Philippe and Matthieu Lagrive, riding for the QMMF Endurance World Champions, Suzuki Endurance Racing Team, confirmed their dominance this afternoon by taking pole position for tomorrow’s Doha 8 Hours. Yet again the pair improved on their lap times during the afternoon’s second qualifying session. Matthieu Lagrive recorded the best individual time of any session so far with a 2’03.566 lap, and his Suzuki 1 will start from the front in tomorrow’s race.

Doha 8 Hours - SERT Fastest in Free Practice Ahead of Kawasaki QERT

The 2007 Endurance World Champions recorded the fastest time in this afternoon’s free practice session for the Doha 8 Hours at the Losail circuit. Thanks to Vincent Philippe’s flying lap of 2’05.619, Suzuki Endurance Racing Team finished ahead of both the Kawasaki of the Qatar Endurance Racing Team (2’06.416) and the Yamaha Phase One team (2’07.910).

KRT Kawasaki Edge Closer To First 2007 Podium

Kawasaki Racing Team riders Billy Mackenzie and Tanel Leok demonstrated that they have the speed to be main competitors in the 2007 MX1 Motocross World Championship today at the Grand Prix of Portugal and the third round of the series but several incidents within the motos left the Briton and Estonian ruing their luck. Excellent weather conditions, with twenty-five degree temperatures and uninterrupted sunshine at the Agueda circuit, greeted KRT and the 18,000 spectators who had made the journey to the fourth consecutive edition of the Portuguese event.

Kawasaki's Mackenzie Ends Spanish Outing With 5th

Billy Mackenzie narrowly missed out on equalling KRT’s best MX1 moto finish with the potent KX450F-SR this afternoon at a demanding Bellpuig circuit in Catalonia for the Grand Prix of Spain and the second round of fifteen in the 2007 Motocross World Championship. The Scot completed 15 of the 19 laps of the second moto in second position behind runaway winner Josh Coppins but was baulked by backmarkers on two occasions during the final stages and was caught by several riders who relegated the 23 year old to fifth.

Leok Scores Second in Bright Swedish GP for KRT

Tanel Leok gained his second podium result of the season with third position for the ninth round of the FIM MX1 Motocross World Championship at a 28,900 spectator-lined Uddevalla and the Grand Prix of Sweden. Billy Mackenzie was sixth overall giving Kawasaki two riders and a double appearance for the KX450F-SR at the top of the leader-board.
