USA Dominate 61st Motocross Of Nations
24 September 2007
Kawasaki enjoyed a successful afternoon at the biggest and most prestigious Motocross event of the year as Ryan Villopoto and Tim Ferry guided their KX250F and KX450Fs to help Team USA celebrate their eighteenth capture of the Chamberlain trophy in the 61st edition of the international Nations competition. Team GPKR’s Sebastien Pourcel was part of the French trio that gained second place. From the nine riders on the final podium, one third steered KX motorcycle technology.

Mackenzie Fourth Overall in Steamy Italy
17 July 2007
The Grand Prix Citta di Faenza saw Kawasaki Racing Team’s Billy Mackenzie score fourth position and a second moto ranking of third as the tenth meeting of fifteen in the FIM MX1 Motocross World Championship took place under blue skies and rocketing temperatures in central-eastern Italy. 29,000 spectators applied a high-factor sun cream and watched as the fastest riders in the MX1 series defied strength-sapping conditions at the circuit close to Imola and only 50km east of Bologna. Faenza was hosting a world championship event for the first time this century and despite numerous alterations to bring the track up to Grand Prix standard and impeccable presentation, the layout offered a traditional Italian test with its fast, hard and dusty terrain.

Mackenzie Back in The Winner’s Circle
11 July 2007
Billy Mackenzie won his second Maxxis British Championship event of the season, after the sixth round of the 2007 series at the Whitby circuit was reduced to a one moto scorecard. The Scot aced the first moto for his third chequered flag from eleven and a return to the podium steps after a brace of fourth positions two weeks ago in Northern Ireland. The second race was started and ran in torrential rain. Mackenzie fell on the first corner and was hit by another machine. The impact to his KX450F-SR bent the gear lever. The 23 year old pitted to see if repairs could be carried out but had to rejoin the fray in last position and use second gear for long stretches of the remaining race time.

Mackenzie Maintains British Series Lead
26 June 2007
Kawasaki Race Team’s Billy Mackenzie took fourth overall at Desertmartin in Northern Ireland for the fifth round of the Maxxis British Championship and continues to lead the high-profile MX1 series. Mackenzie, suffering some discomfort from the rib injury he sustained in the first moto spill at the Grand Prix of Bulgaria last week, rode to two fourth positions across the fine red Irish soil.
