Livia Heads Down To Teutschenthal With Her Team GPKR
13 May 2007
The Women World Cup will kick off this weekend in Teutschenthal (Germany), home of the opening round of this series borne two years ago in Sweden. Three rounds (Germany, Sweden and The Netherlands) will be organized this season alongside the MX1-MX2 Grand Prix and French rider Livia Lancelot will make her first appearance on a Kawasaki GPKR KX250F. Third of the competition in the last two editions, Livia Lancelot will be racing for the first time of her career in an official team, after two seasons as a privateer. “With three rounds at the calendar this year the World Cup is growing up, and is a great opportunity to professionalize our sport. It’s interesting to see that the first three ladies of the previous editions got now an official support from teams, and for us it’s of course important to be member of a team. I’m convinced that I will be able to make another step with Kawasaki and team GPKR’ explained Livia who was racing so far in her family structure.
