The future of one of Britain’s biggest motorcycle and clothing retail chains is secure following financial restructuring at Infinity Motorcycles that leaves the original four directors in firm control of the business. Trading at branches of Infinity was temporarily suspended for several days, while details of the deal were finalised, and doors re-opened on Saturday 20th October. Under the terms of the arrangement all four London stores will continue trading under the Infinity banner, along with showrooms in Peterborough, Southampton and York. Infinity will also retain its clothing & accessories outlet in Farnborough, while motorcycle sales will continue from the adjacent showrooms under new and separate ownership.

Reigning Suzuki GB Technician of the Year, Julian Cameron of Infinity Motorcycles in Farnborough, has successfully secured a place in Suzuki’s World Skills contest in Japan later this year. Julian, who has worked at Infinity’s Farnborough dealership for eight years, scooped the coveted Technician of the Year award last year, qualifying to compete with the best in Europe earlier this month. Finishing inside the top five, with colleagues from Austria, Belgium, Finland and Germany, Julian will travel to the Suzuki factory in Hamamatsu, Japan in October to complete in the World Finals.

In the wake of the great success achieved by Beta testing with the Neck Gore-tex jacket, Dainese has decided to get its customers involved again in another operation to test the Airstream Course Infinity, a special series of latest-generation helmets.
