First of Honda’s 2009 Motorcycle Models Announced

Honda today announces the first of its exciting motorcycle model line-up for the 2009 model year. New and updated models include the class-winning and still breathtaking CBR1000RR Fireblade and CBR600RR Supersport machines, both of which will be available with Honda’s all-new electronically-controlled Combined ABS as an option.

Full TT Podium Finish for LeoVince Exhausts!

LeoVince made it 1st,2nd & 3rd in the superbike category at this years TT. Cameron Donald won on his Relentless-TAS-Suzuki, with teammate Bruce Anstey 2nd, followed by Adrian Archibald on his AMA-Racing Suzuki in 3rd place. The Suzuki GSX-R1000's of all three riders are equipped with LeoVince's complete SBK-CORSA 4-2-1-2 titanium exhaust systems. These state-of-the-art systems have been developed by LeoVince with help of the TAS team. LeoVince were one of the first exhaust manufacturers to develop a system for the latest GSXR1000 - and to be in front of their competitors a bike was shipped over from Japan. Keith Amor running his LeoVince equipped '08 Honda CBR1000RR came 7th place.

Micron Exhaust Additions to the New '08 Fireblade

Micron has revealed its stunning new GP Sport exhaust for Honda’s remarkable new 2008 CBR1000RR Fireblade, the bike that is being dubbed by most motorcycling publications as the bike of the year. The original bike’s catalytic converter has been replaced by Micron’s specially designed under-body silencer, designed on the company’s sophisticated computer-aided-design systems and Hydroformed to fit the Fireblade perfectly.

Honda’s Sports Machines Savour All-Round Success

Honda’s class-leading sportsbikes, the CBR1000RR Fireblade and the CBR600RR have once again proved themselves the best machines for the roads by dominating this year’s Isle of Man TT races, while continuing to feature among the most popular sportsbikes with the road-going public. Last week, in the capable hands of John McGuinness, Honda’s CBR1000RR took wins in the Superbike and Senior races at the Centenary TT. In the Senior race, John and the Fireblade also netted the new lap record, setting a new best of 130.354mph! The CBR1000RR also filled the top six placings in the Superbike race and the top three in the Senior race, proving that the Fireblade is still the machine to beat on the roads.

Honda Announces a Model Change for the CBR1000RR Super Sports Model

Tokyo, Japan, Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has announced a model change for its CBR1000RR large-displacement super sports model. The new CBR1000RR, which comes equipped with a water-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, in-line 4-cylinder, 1000cc engine featuring advanced technologies developed on the MotoGP circuit, the world pinnacle of motorcycle road racing goes on sale in Japan on Saturday, February 25, 2006.
