Knight Wins '08 FunEnduro in Mexico

From the World Enduro Championship's GP of Wales to the FunEnduro in Mexico. US GNCC series points leader David Knight continued to keep himself busy during his summer break by travelling to Vale De Bravo, Mexico to compete in the seventh running of the FunEnduro International - an enduro style race with an International Six Days Enduro format, which includes both time checks and timed special tests.

GNCC ATV Series - Round 8

FRE/KTM Factory rider Adam McGill earned 5th overall at the eighth round of the GNCC Series while his teammate Taylor Kiser also finished inside the top ten taking home a hard fought 8th overall.

GNCC Bike Series - Round 8

Red Bull KTM Factory Team riders David Knight and Justin Williamson earned podium positions at the eighth round of the GNCC Series. Williamson earned his best finish of the season in the XC-2 class after getting a great start and remaining up front all day. Williamson came around the first turn in 4th, found his rhythm and quickly moved into 2nd. On the second to last lap Williamson passed for the lead and looked like he might take his first win of the season when he crashed into a bush and lost 20 seconds. The time lost was all it took for fellow KTM rider Jason Thomas to pass Williamson to take the win. Williamson finished 2nd overall just eight seconds behind Thomas. Williamson's 2nd place finish moved him up to 5th place in overall points.

Problems for FRE KTM in GNCC Round Seven

FRE KTM Factory ATV riders Adam McGill and Taylor Kiser made their way to Kentucky for the seventh round of the ATV GNCC Series where hot weather and a long day awaited. Both FRE KTM Factory riders got a decent jump off the line as the herd of riders neared the first turn. Kiser almost had the holeshot nailed down until a rider hit him from behind pushing him into another group of riders. Kiser and the riders he collided with were stuck together and lost precious seconds untangling from each other. Meanwhile, McGill was sitting in 4th looking for another good run.

Testing Weekend for Red Bull KTM at GNCC

Red Bull KTM rider and current series point's leader, David Knight, and his teammate Nate Kanney had a successful weekend at the seventh round of the GNCC series, both finishing inside the top five. Although it wasn't the dominating race weekend most fans are used to seeing Knight pull off, he did start out well, rounding the first turn in 2nd place while Kanney was right behind in 3rd. For the first few laps, the two Red Bull KTM Factory riders stayed within the top three on this fast-paced course. At one point Knight escaped with the lead as he and Josh Strang battled back and forth for that front spot.

GNCC Series Round 13 - Knight & Williamson Take Championships
30 October 2007
Knight needed to finish 12th or higher to clench the top spot for the series. He had a good start and worked his way to the front of the pack and eventually took the lead. From there Knight never looked back.
