The quiet scenic track of Cadwell Park is soon to be hit by the madness that has now become the annual CJ Riders Fund Cadwell Park Cycle Race. Once the Superbikes finish on track for qualifying, a sight beyond belief is unfolded. Grown men in lycra suits, dresses or even dressed as Shrek descend upon the track to participate in one of the most talked about events of the year!

Vemar TAI2K Powerpuff Girls Helmet

Vemar have given their TAI2K helmet a powerful make-over with a new graphic scheme in tribute to the Powerpuff Girls. Like the cartoon superheroes, this helmet has a highly stylised minimalist look, with primary colours on a matt black background. Manufactured from light ATM (Advance Thermo Material) the TAI2K weighs just 1440g, comparable to many composite shell helmets with substantially higher price tags. It is fitted with a 2.2mm injection moulded visor that can be removed in seconds without any tools, using the quick-release mechanism.

Rizla Suzuki Model Competition

RIZLA Suzuki is offering two budding models the opportunity to become brolly girls for the opening of Blue Chip, the team’s technology partners, new offices in Leeds on the 13th March. The lucky winners will spend the day representing Rizla Suzuki along side former British Superbike Champion, John Reynolds. They will also be photographed by professional photographers whose work will be published in local press as well as on the Rizla Suzuki and Blue Chip web sites.

Girls only off-road

It’s not only men that get a kick out of riding motorcycles off-road. There are plenty of women want the chance also to take their bike skills off-road and improve their overall riding ability. After a successful trial of a women’s only course this year, BMW’s Chief Instructor Simon Pavey has decided to run an exclusive women’s only Off-Road Skills course on 23-24 April 2006.
