Kawasaki Racing Team’s Tanel Leok takes his first GP podium of 2008 at Teutschental in Germany while teammate Manuel Priem secures eighth overall with another solid ride.
The German Grand Prix is always something of an epic race as the fast but technical Teutschental circuit always offers up some of the best racing in the championship season. The 2008 edition was no different and with the Teutschental circuit rougher than ever and the summer sun raising temperatures to around 26 degrees Celsius this event was a brutal scorcher that sorted the men from the boys.
Red Bull KTM riders Tomoyoshi Koyama and Randy Krummenacher have been testing a new chassis on their 125 FRR - and are now even more confident for the German Grand Prix on the meandering and challenging Sachsenring circuit this weekend. With one victory, one second and one third place for Tomoyoshi Koyama, and with Randy Krummenacher climbing the podium for the first time ever in Barcelona, Team Red Bull KTM 125 are now a force to be reckoned with in this year's world championship. There is much more to come once the 24-year-old Japanese ace and the 17-year-old Swiss GP rookie have all the experience necessary finding the perfect set-up for their nimble 55-horsepower machines.
