Suzuki’s 2008 GSV-R is its second generation 800cc four-stroke prototype Grand Prix machine, and is the most complex and technically advanced racing motorcycle Suzuki has ever produced. Rizla Suzuki MotoGP is pleased to release the first images of the 2008 Suzuki GSV-R accompanied by a technical specification and interviews with the machine’s riders, Chris Vermeulen and Loris Capirossi.
Suzuki and Chris Vermeulen are pleased to announce that they have agreed terms to continue with their partnership into the 2008 MotoGP season and beyond. Vermeulen joined Suzuki at the end of 2005 and has been heavily involved in the development of the Suzuki GSV-R during the past two seasons. The 25-year-old scored a podium for the team in his rookie season and has followed that up this year with Suzuki’s first-ever four-stroke MotoGP victory.
