	Rossi challenges Alonso to a High Speed Duel! 16 March 2006 Valentino Rossi, MotoGP World Champion has challenged Formula One World Champion Fernando Alonso to a head-to-head battle on the track to see who is the quickest. The challenge, which Rossi said should be held in three different types of motorsport will decide who has the most skill and speed. Rossi's challenge came in response to Alonso's claim that he was unimpressed by Rossi's Formula One tests for Ferrari and felt it would be very hard for him to switch from two wheels to four. Alonso also stated that Rossi might finish fifth or even get on the podium in F1, but I could do the same in bikes if I was given enough time to practice. 	Rossi Matches F1 Regulars at Valencia 02 February 2006 World Champion of MotoGP Valentino Rossi, put his embarrassing opening day Valencia completely behind him with a full on second day testing for Ferrari. During the course of the day out of the 15 drivers present, Rossi set the ninth best lap time! This is his first 'real' test on the track with other teams and drivers actually out at the same time as him.
