Dazzling New Bikes At The Motorcycle & Scooter Show

The International Motorcycle and Scooter Show 2007 opened today at the Birmingham NEC with one of the most spectacular line-ups of dazzling new motorcycles ever seen at the UK’s premier two-wheeled show. Some of the biggest names in motorcycling gathered to mark the start of the ten-day biking extravaganza, which runs until 2nd December. Highlights of the day included the appearance of Britain’s World Superbike Champion James Toseland, British Superbike legend Chris Walker, and world-famous biking adventurer Charley Boorman, not to mention UK bike premieres from BMW, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki and Yamaha. The biggest names have been queuing up this year to reveal their brand new bikes for the first time in the UK at this year’s Show, including the much anticipated return of Italian giants Ducati, the first ever show appearance by Benelli, as well as a stunning line-up of gleaming bikes from Harley-Davidson, Buell, Triumph, CCM, Hyosung, Victory and Vectrix.

NEC Bike Show Announces Star-Studded Line-Up

With only eight days to go until the International Motorcycle and Scooter Show arrives at the NEC Birmingham (23rd Nov – 2nd Dec), the organisers have announced an all-star line-up of big-name riders and celebrities due to attend the Show, including World Superbike Champion James Toseland, British Superbike (BSB) star Chris Walker, The Long Way Down’s Charley Boorman, legendary motorsport commentator Murray Walker, The BBC’s Hairy Bikers as well as a host of other racers from MotoGP, World Superbike and BSB.

NEC Show Presents Exciting New Line-up Of Interactive Features For All Ages

The re-launched International Motorcycle and Scooter Show is set to offer visitors more adrenalin-fuelled, interactive features than ever before when it returns to the Birmingham NEC from 23rd November – 2nd December. The Show’s new location within the NEC means that it has been possible to introduce a host of new areas and features, providing visitors of all ages with an enormous choice of bikes to get up close and personal with. As well as being able to ride the latest 2007 models from exhibiting manufacturers, there will also be an array of other exciting two-wheeled entertainment. For the first time, visitors will be able to check out the Buell Skills low speed handling course, receive free cornering advice from the California Superbike School, witness the incredible Wall of Death, and ride on four wheels as well as two at the new Karting track. Not forgetting the brand new Arai Entertainment Zone featuring the Blackhorse Stage.

Charley Boorman & Chris Walker To Front NEC Bike Show

Among the many famous faces set to attend the re-launched 2007 International Motorcycle and Scooter Show will be this year’s two newly-announced Show ambassadors – world-famous biking adventurer Charley Boorman and British racing legend Chris Walker. Both will be attending the Birmingham NEC Show on a number of dates to meet fans and sign autographs, and will be acting as ambassadors for the Show which runs from the 23rd November to 2nd December. The announcement of two of the most recognisable faces in British biking supporting the Show, is another strong endorsement for the UK’s biggest two-wheeled show.
