2008 AMA SBK Parts Unlimited & Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix
17 July 2008
The AMA Superbike Championship presented by Parts Unlimited will contest the first of two rounds to be held this season at the famed Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca circuit in Monterey, Calif. The July stop has also become an annual meeting with the superstars of the MotoGP World Championship, widely considered the pinnacle of global motorcycle road racing. The MotoGP field boasts some of the AMA Superbike Championship's most decorated graduates, led by 2006 World Champion Nicky Hayden, a former AMA Superbike and Supersport champ. Hayden won the U.S. Grand Prix in 2005 and 2006. 1992 AMA 250GP champion Colin Edwards is another top MotoGP competitor with an AMA Superbike pedigree. The Texan has been performing impressively this season, regularly finishing in the top five and occasionally landing on the podium. Unfortunately, former AMA Formula Xtreme and Superstock king John Hopkins will be unable to compete in front of his home fans at Laguna Seca, ruled out by injury.

Three-way Dogfight For AMA Supersport Coming Into Road Atlanta
30 August 2007
About the only sure thing in the Pro Honda Oils Supersport Championship presented by Shoei is that this year’s champion will likely have a last name that begins with the letter H. Road Atlanta will host the penultimate rounds of the Supersport series this Sunday, Sept. 2. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Roger Hayden and Jamie Hacking lead the series, with the youngest of the racing Hayden brothers holding an 11-point margin over the defending champ Hacking. A victory in the most recent round at Virginia International Raceway by Erion Honda’s Josh Hayes has moved him back into contention for the title as well. Hayes is just seven points behind Hacking in third.

Hayes Looking For Formula Xtreme Repeat In Utah
19 June 2007
Josh Hayes has the distinction of being the rider to win the very first AMA professional race at Miller Motorsports Park when the state-of-the-art track opened last June. This Saturday, June 23, Hayes hopes to become the track’s first repeat winner as he rides his Erion Honda CBR600RR in the Lockhart Phillips USA Formula Xtreme Series presented by HMR. Chances are good for Hayes, who is riding the crest of a four-race Formula Xtreme winning streak coming into Tooele. He’s built a 25-point lead over Attack Kawasaki’s Steve Rapp. If Hayes wins this weekend it would mark the longest Formula Xtreme winning streak in seven years.
