Micheluz Takes Podium Result at Home GP

Despite being down to just two riders for the penultimate round of the 2008 World Enduro Championship due to the injury sustained by Spaniard Cristobal Guerrero at this year's ISDE in Greece, the UFO Corse Yamaha team put in a strong showing at their home round of the WEC series in Piediluco, Italy with Maurizio Micheluz claiming the team's best E1 class results with 3rd on Day1 and 4th on Day2.

Husqvarna Takes Double Podium at Andorra Supermoto GP

A great achievement for Husqvarna CH Racing team who, last weekend, took part in the 6th round of 2008 Supermoto World Championship held in Andorra. The two Chareyre brothers, Thomas and Adrien, rode outstandingly well to win the S1 and S2 classes respectively.

Edmondson Wins Final GBXC Round

The fourth and final round of the GBXC series ran over the weekend at Ashby de la Zouch and Paul Edmondson posted his name in lights as the first Pro winner at this new venue. The Relentless Suzuki Enduro rider, aboard his RM250 finished nearly a minute clear of his closest rival, despite taking an extra pit stop for fuel just before the final lap. With second placed rider Darryl Bolter breathing down his neck as he left the pit area, Edmondson charged to the line, putting in one of the fastest laps of the day and managing to pull nearly a minute gap in a single lap.

AMA congratulates Team USA on successful showing at International Six Days Enduro

The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) congratulates the members, volunteers, sponsors and staff who were part of the Team USA effort at the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Serres, Greece, this September 1-6. The U.S. Trophy Team finished on the podium, the team's best result at the ISDE since the Trophy Team finished second in 1982, while the U.S. Women's Trophy Team finished second in the women's division and the Junior Trophy Team scored a hard-fought 12th.

Storming Comeback for Edmondson at Crychan

The third round of the Metzeler ACU British Enduro Championship took place in the Crychan Forest near Llandovery at the weekend, with Relentless Suzuki Enduro rider, Paul Edmondson, experiencing the ultimate in highs and lows on his RM250. Fresh from his recent World Enduro Championship success, Edmondson was keen to strengthen his BEC series standings but had to endure the highs and lows of enduro after a problem with his rear shock absorber on day one forced him to retire from further competition on the day. Wet conditions made for very hard going but Edmondson was riding well, completely unfazed by the slippery course, until the mechanical hiccup.

At last weekend’s opening round of the Michelin Fast Cross series, Edmondson took the first victory in style, before going on to triumph on Wednesday at the opening round of the CF Racing XC series and finally topping it off with a win on Sunday in the third round of the Putoline XC Championship at Llandrillo, North Wales.
