Motohaus Appointed Exclusive UK Distributor for Alpine Moulded Plugs

Motohaus have been appointed exclusive UK distributors for Alpine, the distinctive moulded ear plugs that bridge the gap between expensive custom-made ear plugs and the disposable foam versions. Research shows that regularly riding in wind noise will irrevocably result in hearing damage, fatigue and a loss of concentration. With the average noise inside a motorcycle helmet reaching 92.7dB at 100 km/h (60 mp/h), that’s significantly higher than the 80dB ceiling recommended under European health and safety legislation for anyone exposed to noise for a prolonged period of time. Only a tiny fraction of Britain’s 1 million motorcyclists opt for expensive custom-made earplugs, and Motohaus believe there will be strong demand for this affordable alternative to cheap disposable foam earplugs.
