Quay Garage Racing Seek New Rider for BSB Cup
Yesterday
Q8Oils-supported Quay Garage Racing are in talks with some high profile riders to replace James Buckingham, following the 23-year old’s brave decision to step back from racing. James has a long association with the North Devon team, having won the British Superbike ‘privateers cup’ with them in 2005. However he has been dogged by injury problems since a massive crash at Oulton Park in 2006 that left him with two broken ankles and has struggled to return to his previous form. James’ ankle injury ruled him out of the 2006 season and he rode with a hole in his ankle bone that caused considerable pain during his 2007 campaign. He underwent a bone graft operation at the end of the year.
