	Carmichael 6th After Crashing 24 April 2006 A heavy crash on the fifth lap of Saturday’s Dallas Supercross dropped World and AMA Supercross Champion Ricky Carmichael down to sixth position overall, but he still leads the series. The Makita Suzuki rider had holeshotted the 20-lap Main Event ahead of Chad Reed (Yamaha) and James Stewart (Kawasaki), lost the lead momentarily to Stewart, then got crossed up and fell.
