Dainese Announces 2008 TT Involvement

Dainese has today announced that the company has been appointed the ‘Official Safety Partner’ to the Isle of Man TT Races for 2008. As part of the significant deal, the TT’s two key Superbike races will be known as The Isle of Man Dainese Superbike Race and The Isle of Man Dainese Senior TT Race. The Italian company, which specialises in safety products for active sports enthusiasts was founded in 1972 by the current managing director, Mr Lino Dainese, who will be visiting the Isle of Man over the TT fortnight.

Sixth And Seventh For Jackson At Brands

Krystal Racing Space Air’s Lee Jackson rounded off the 2007 Metzeler Racetec National Superstock Championship with two top ten finishes at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit. Riding while still injured from a massive smash at the Bol d’Or last month, the 2005 champ ended Saturday’s race in seventh place, and finished Sunday’s season finale sixth. Team-mate Paul Veazey meanwhile, finished 17th in race one, but was forced to retire in the second.

Tough Weekend For Krystal Boys

Krystal Racing Space Air riders Paul Veazey and Kelvin Reilly endured a tough weekend as the Metzeler Racetec National Superstock Championship hit Donington Park for a double-header. In the absence of team rider Lee Jackson, who was sidelined with a chipped ankle bone following a crash at the Bol d’Or in France last week, the squad drafted in KTM rider Reilly to pilot the number 22 machine.

Krystal Racing Space Air's Lee Jackson brought his Yamaha YZF-R1 machine home in seventh place after a hard-fought round of the Metzeler Racetec National Superstock Championship at Cadwell Park this afternoon, while young team-mate Paul Veazey was forced to retire with severe pain from a previous injury. Meanwhile, Gary Jackson scored a sixth place in Sunday's National Superstock Cup race, following it up with a fifth in the second race today.

Veazey To Battle Through The Pain At Home Track

Krystal Racing Space Air’s Paul Veazey will be back in the saddle for his home round this weekend as the Metzeler Racetec National Superstock Championship heads to Croft Circuit near Darlington. Veazey, who lives just 20 miles away in nearby Middlesbrough, is still in pain after breaking his hand in training last month, but is determined to put on a good show for his home fans on Sunday. He will be joined, as ever, on the team’s distinctive yellow and blue Yamaha R1s by team-mate Lee Jackson, who is still riding high from his two second places in the Superbike Cup at Mallory Park last month.

Krystal To Kick-off Croft Weekend With The NYRRSC

Krystal Racing Space Air will kick-start this weekend's round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Croft by joining forces with the North Yorkshire Road Racing Supporters Club (NYRRSC) for a night of entertainment on Thursday. The leading Superstock outfit will be guests of honour at the latest fund-raising event hosted by the ever-growing club at Northallerton Football Club on Thursday August 9 - the day before the action gets underway on the track.

Double Superbike Cup Joy For Jackson

Krystal Racing Space Air's Lee Jackson scored two second place finishes in the British Superbike Cup at Mallory Park this afternoon. Riding his usual Superstock Yamaha YZF-R1 machine with slick tyres, the Lincoln rider beat several series regulars to bag two podiums in the Cup class of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship. It was a difficult start to the weekend following the tragic death of Ollie Bridewell, a close friend of the team on Friday afternoon. Both Jackson and the team had considered withdrawing from the event, but after much deliberation it was agreed that they would run.

Jackson to Tackle Superbikes at Mallory

Krystal Racing Space Air and rider Lee Jackson are to contest Round Nine of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Mallory Park. With no Metzeler Racetec National Superstock Championship race at this weekend’s event, the team have decided to try their collective hand at the leading UK series. Riding his usual Superstock-spec Yamaha YZF-R1 in the Cup class, Jackson will swap his normal number 22 for 24 and switch to slick tyres for Sunday’s event.

Gary Taylor Champ Of Big Air Jam

Margam park Wednesday 18th July happened to be the location for this year Big Air Jam event as 3500 visitor witness Gary Taylor become crowned master of freestyle moto cross champion on one of the nicest days we have had in July so far. The sun was out and so to were some the worlds best freestyle motocross athletes, battling it out for the title of king of freestyle. Gary Taylor, who is 24 years old form Coventry rode out of his skin to take victory in all three categories, Taylor took command very early on in the night by leading the likes of Kris Brock and Jamie Squibb plus many more top class freestyle mx riders, giving Taylor the advantage of being last out in the final run. This allowed him to watch all the other riders to see what he needed for the final run win.

Jackson Brothers Fly The Flag For Krystal at Oulton

UKfmx presents ‘THE BIG AIR JAM’ Freestyle motor-cross championship. The aim of the competition is to help raise money for BTCV’s Fast 50 Learning Project which is a community off road bike project, recently in receipt of a grant from the Neath & Port Talbot Community Safety Team. The Fast 50 Learning Project is delivered in partnership with the Neath & Port Talbot Community Safety Team. This project brings the exciting fast action world of biking to the classroom, and allows interested members of the community to gain accredited skills and tackles the issues around off-road illegal riding, Funds raised by the events will go towards developing and expanding the project at a dedicated site in Ystalyfera. On Wednesday 18th July we welcome some of the world's best freestyle riders - including Britain's very own Gary Taylor, Kris Brock, Dave Wiggins, Danny Veale, Jamie Squibb, plus many more fantastic freestyle athletes. They promise an exciting adrenalin-fuelled high flying performance which will leave you stunned. A group of young people from the Fast 50 Learning Project have worked hard at training sessions to enable them to judge the riders' performances, so the riders may find themselves facing their harshest critics yet! Each event will be filmed by the Extreme Sports Channel so a large and noisy turn out is very much expected.

Krystal Racing Space Air endured a tough three days at the weekend’s double-header at Mondello Park in Ireland. As the Metzeler Racetec National Superstock Championship made its annual visit to the tough Irish circuit, the team were left counting the costs from three crashes after both riders took excursions off the track during the course of the weekend.
