HANNspree Ten Kate Honda Positive After Brno Test

Following two days of Pirelli tyre testing at Brno in the Czech Republic, HANNspree Ten Kate Honda leaves the circuit with some impressive lap times and invaluable bike development under its belt. The team took the opportunity to work on the settings of the CBR1000RR Superbike and CBR600RR Supersport machines in preparation for the ninth round of the 2007 Championship at Brno in three weeks time.

A Good Test For Yamaha SBK & WSS Teams At Brno

Both the Yamaha Motor Italia WSB Team and Yamaha World Supersport Team found success in testing this week at the Czech circuit of Brno. The teams participated in an official two-day test in their role as development teams for FGSport, along with a selection of other teams. Brno is a naturally rising and falling circuit and is very popular with all riders, making it the perfect place for the Yamaha teams to do tyre testing with Pirelli prior to the next race, which is at Brno in three weeks time. Haga had a good round at this track in 2006, taking the Superpole and Best Race Lap records there and his team mate, Corser, has also had a good relationship with the Czech circuit, taking three wins there to date as well as achieving pole twice.

Laconi And Nieto Test Latest Tyres At Brno

Regis Laconi (PSG-1 Kawasaki Corse Ninja ZX-10R) joined his team-mate Fonsi Nieto (PSG-1 Kawasaki Corse Ninja ZX-10R) in the task of testing the new generation Pirelli race tyres at Brno, in what proved to be less than perfect conditions. A late start to proceedings because of a wet track surface early on day one reduced the available track time somewhat, and on day two the slowly improving track conditions, affected by wind, were still far from those expected to be met when the SBK circus returns to Brno to race for real on July 22nd.

Testing Times For Foret And Riba At Brno

Fabien Foret (GIL Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R) and his 2007 team-mate Pere Riba (GIL Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R) completed a valuable two-day test at Brno in the Czech Republic, having learned much about the new range of Pirelli tyres and machine set-up for the race in late July. Foret also tried out a new engine specification for part of the test and pronounced it a useful improvement as the final five rounds of the season now beckon. Foret, currently second overall in the championship race, was seventh fastest on day two of the test, but concentrated his efforts on looking for the optimal set-up for the race.

Bayliss & Lanzi Wrap Up Two-Day Test At Brno

The top five World Superbike development teams, one from each manufacturer, have concluded a two-day official Pirelli test session at the Brno circuit, home to next month's Czech round of the championship. The quickest time over the two days in relatively cool conditions (track 19° C / air 29° C) was set by Ducati Xerox Team riders Bayliss and Lanzi on qualifying tyres, but in race trim they were both further down the order.

Yukio Happy To Be First In Test's!

Team Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra rider Yukio Kagayama posted the fastest time on race rubber at Brno today and left the Czech Republic track with a big smile on his face. He and the team carried on their work from Misano ten days or so ago and the successful changes made there and here at these tests have given him and the team great hope for the rest of the season. Although Yukio was not the fastest rider on qualifying tyres, his lap times on those were hardly any better then on regular rubber.

Pirelli Development Test's In Brno

Pirelli is always developing new solutions to improve the performance of its tyres. Once again the development teams carried out a two days test in order to evaluate the new solutions brought by Pirelli. This was a job intended to offer not only the best tyres for the race they will dispute in Brno in two weeks time, but also to start developing the new tyres that next winter will be again tested and then will participate to next season races.
