	Hammers See of the Bees 03 July 2008 The Lakeside Hammers roared to a very impressive 34 points victory over last season’s triple champions, the Coventry Bees, in last night’s Sky Sports Elite League match at their Arena-Essex Raceway. The win moves the Hammers up two places in the table, up into third place, but they have four matches in hand over the top two, Swindon and Poole. A top two place at the end of the season is important as it will give the Essex based Club a home draw in the semi final of the play-off’s for the League title. 	Hammers Prepare for Next Week 11 June 2008 The Lakeside Hammers have no meetings this week but they are already preparing for next week when they have three important meetings. Next Monday, 16th June, they are away in a Sky Sports Elite League match against Eastbourne, which will be shown live on Sky Sports. This is a match that the Hammers Team Manager, Jon Cook, captain, Adam Shields, and Finnish International Joonas Kylmakorpi will be particularly keen to win as they have all been involved with the Sussex club in the past.
