BMW Motorrad Announces GS Trophy UK Qualifier

BMW is celebrating 30 years of the iconic ‘Gelande-Strasse’ (GS) in 2010. To mark the occasion, BMW Motorrad UK has teamed up with Simon Pavey and the BMW Off Road Skills School to host the BMW Motorrad GS Trophy UK Qualifier; a unique sporting challenge which will culminate with three amateur British riders being selected to represent the UK at the International GS Trophy Finals in November 2010.

Dakar Rally - 9th Win In A Row For KTM As Despres Seals Victory In Buenos Aires

KTM-supported rider Cyril Despres sealed victory in the 2010 Dakar Rally after more than 9000 km across Argentina and Chile. He rode triumphantly into Buenos Aires to complete his third Dakar victory and the ninth consecutive victory for KTM, the Austrian-made sports motorcycles. With this ninth consecutive success KTM remains unbeaten in the most important Rally race since 2001.

Arai Five Year Competition Winner Announced

Dyno Shoot-Out Competition at Ace Cafe London

Throughout 2009, Ace Cafe London will be hosting a Dyno Shoot-Out competition with Urbane Performance on specified dates, commencing on Friday 24th April from 6pm -11pm, through to Ton Up Day on Sunday 15th November 2009, when the winners will be announced and awards presented. With six categories, ranging from 400cc and under, to 1000cc and over, each owner who puts their machine through a Dyno Test with Urbane Performance will automatically be entered into the competition. There will be a winner and runner up in each category, based on top speed and BHP output, plus an overall winner for top speed.
