BMW Motorrad’s Chris Pfeiffer has successfully defended the Streetbike Freestyle World Championship in Zurich at the recent SWISS-MOTO Motorcycle, Scooter and Tuning Exhibition in Zurich, Switzerland. The 37-year-old German once again dominated proceedings aboard his BMW F 800, winning each of the four rounds, to retain the crown he won at the inaugural event in 2007. Second place went to Portuguese rider Humberto Ribeiro, while rounding up the podium was Sébastien Desbonnet from France.
The 37-year-old German stunt-rider is the current Indoor Freestyle World Champion and was the 2006 Stunt Wars winner in Florida USA. Chris will be giving sensational displays of his trick riding skills at the Day of Champions at Donington Park on Thursday 21 June, and the Goodwood Festival of Speed in Hampshire from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 June. The Day of Champions is the annual fund-raiser for the Riders for Health charity, which trains African health workers to ride and maintain motorcycles so they can reach remote rural communities with vital healthcare. The Goodwood Festival of Speed is a hillclimb event which is quite possibly the biggest and most diverse celebration of two and four-wheeled motorsport in the world, both perfect venues for Chris to perform his spectacular show.
