Stunning Results for Centurion at Brands

Not only was the weather stunning at Brands Hatch but as were the results from the Centurion Racing team. James Westmoreland and Dan Cooper secured two fantastic results in the rescheduled Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship at Brands Hatch, taking a fourth and 11th place respectively. Having already qualified at the beginning of April, before the race was abandoned due to heavy snow, the Centurion duo had put their Honda's in 12th, Westy and 20th, Cooper on the grid. The race initially was the opening round of the Championship and the two were struggling to get to grips with their new Pirelli tyres and therefore were unable to place themselves higher on the starting grid.

Points for Centurion Racing

Centurion Racing secured a positive result at Oulton Park this weekend, when riders Dan Cooper and James Westmoreland gained a seventh and eleventh place respectively in the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship. This was 20-year-old Dan Cooper's best result to date in the tough 600 Class. After dislocating his shoulder during first qualifying this was a fantastic result from the youngster. Westmoreland also improved from the 15th position that he achieved at Thruxton a couple of weeks ago and obtained a healthy points scoring position.

Bad Fortunes for Centurion Racing

Centurion Racing had a tough weekend at the second round of the Fuches-Silkoline British Supersport Championship at Thruxton Circuit this weekend. After a great Qualifying day on Saturday with all three riders making it into the top 15, the team's luck changed dramatically on Sunday when Dennis Hobbs, riding an impressive race and against the factory-built bikes of Glen Richards and Steve Brogan was the hapless victim of a seventh lap rear-end double shunt at the s-bend chicanes at the hands of James Webb.

Centurion Racing - Rescheduled Brands Hatch Due to Snow

Centurion Racing were unable to race in the first round of the Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport series this weekend at Brands Hatch after horrendous snow fall put a stop to all track activity. The organisers of the British Superbike series MSVR had to make the tough but correct decision to cancel the meeting at Brands but have managed to reschedule it for May 10th and 11th.

Positive Pre-Season Testing for Centurion

It was a very successful first test for the Centurion Racing Team. After the long winter break the team consisting of riders Dennis Hobbs, James Westmoreland and Dan Cooper were eager to get back out on a race track and start preparing for the tough season that lies ahead of them.

Excel Shows Proves a Success for Centurion Racing

The team took time out from their busy preparation for the new season, where they are running Dennis Hobbs, James Westmoreland and Dan Cooper in the British Supersport series, to give their support to the London show.

Confident Results On Close of Season

The Centurion Racing team had a strong finish to the 2007 Maxxis British Supersport Championship. Running three riders at the final round at Brands Hatch, James Westmoreland and Dan Cooper were joined by the 2007 British 125 Champion 19-year-old Luke Jones. All three riders rode an exceptional race at the tiny 1.2-mile circuit gaining 9th, 11th and 19th place respectively.

Highs And Lows For Centurion

Centurion Racing suffered a mixed weekend of results at round ten of the Maxxis British Supersport Championship at Croft Circuit, North Yorkshire. Running strong throughout the weekend riders James Westmoreland and Dan Cooper achieved a varied set of results with Westmoreland gaining a confidence boosting eighth place and Cooper crashing out whilst lying in a fantastic eleventh position.

Westmoreland Secures British Supersport Cup Championship Title

Centurion Racing are delighted to announce for the second year running they are now the 2007 British Supersport Cup winners with their rider 19-year-old James Westmoreland. After receiving confirmation from the Championship organisers MCRCB the team will have cause for celebration at Cadwell Park in a couple of weeks time. Westy has ridden smooth all year and has made the tough jump up for the fierce 125-Championship where he finished runner up to his Centurion team-mate Dan Cooper. Westy has won six of the ten Cup rounds so far and has won the Championship with three rounds still remaining. He took a stunning result at Thruxton where he finished fourth in the overall Championship and has been consistent up to this point. Last season Centurion achieved the same feat with their previous rider and they are extremely pleased at lifting the crown again.

Fantastic Weekend for Centurion

The Centurion Racing Team put their delivery of two 07 Honda’s to good use this weekend at round eight of the Maxxis British Supersport Championship at Oulton Park. Riders James Westmoreland and Dan Cooper scored a stunning seventh and eighth position in the difficult 14-lap race. Varied weather conditions throughout the weekend had allowed the two youngsters plenty of time to find a good set up for both the wet and the dry. By race day the rain was still coming down and the pair certainly did not disappoint and they made the most of their new bikes.

Trials And Tribulations For Centurion

It was a problem struck weekend for the Centurion Racing Team this weekend at Knockhill Circuit, Scotland. James Westmoreland finished the Maxxis British Supersport race in 14th position and his team mate Dan Cooper had to pull in from the race due to a technical problem. In the appalling weather conditions the race was postponed to allow time for the marshals and MCRCB Staff to assess the situation.

More Points For Centurion

Centurion Racing once again had a very successful weekend at the fifth round of the Maxxis British Supersport Championship at the ultra fast Snetterton Circuit. The two riders James Westmoreland and Dan Cooper were both in the points again scoring a strong eighth and eleventh place respectively. The two rookies were rarely out of the top 15 throughout the whole weekend at the Norfolk circuit. Not even half way through the season and the two youngsters who have made the jump from the 125 Championship are finding their feet on the powerful Honda 600 machines and showing their true potential.

Podium For Westy At Oulton

Mixed weather conditions played havoc at the fourth round of the Maxxis British Supersport Championship for Centurion Racing this weekend at Oulton Park. The two riders Dan Cooper and James ‘Westy’ Westmoreland achieved 17th and 18th place respectively in the tough 16-lap race. With conditions changing throughout the Monday Bank Holiday tyre choice was always going to be critical. The two rookie Supersport riders both worked considerably hard all weekend to learn the track and adjust to how a 600 works around the technical 2.69-mile circuit. It was the first time this season that 19-year-old Cooper beat his team-mate Westmoreland.

Confident Start For Centurion

Centurion Racing Signs 125 Champion Dan Cooper To Ride Alongside ‘Westy’

Centurion Racing have now signed 2006 125 British Champion, Daniel Cooper, to ride alongside his former 125 team-mate James ‘Westy’ Westmoreland for the 2007 season in the British Supersport series. The decision, which releases Pete Spalding from his contract with Centurion Racing, follows three tests at Jerez, Cartagena and Valencia, after which it was decided that the team needed riders with potential and total commitment to hopefully take Centurion Racing to the top spots of the grid in the 2007 season.

Centurion Racing Gearing Up For New Season

19-year-old Pete Spalding created history at the weekend by maintaining a 100% record throughout the British Supersport Cup Season. Spalding took his twelfth win from twelve starts at the final round of the British Supersport Cup Championship at Brands Hatch this weekend, 29th September - 1st October.

Centurion Racing Signs Westmoreland For '07'

Centurion Racing are delighted to announce their plans for the up-and-coming 2007 season. After an extremely successful year running 19-year-old Pete Spalding in the Supersport Cup Championship the team have signed a new rider to run alongside Spalding in 2007. Spalding has completely dominated the Cup Championship winning every race to date this season. The New Milton based rider has had some stunning results in the main Championship and was unlucky to miss out on an Overall Podium position at Croft Circuit.
