De Dycker Sixth for CAS Honda In Spanish Weather Reversal
16 April 2007
CAS Honda's Ken de Dycker raced to sixth position overall at a surprisingly sunny and warm Bellpuig venue for the Grand Prix of Spain, the second round of the 2007 MX1 World Championship. After the near perfect conditions at the series opener in Holland two weeks ago the April rains fell hard over Catalunya as the event opened. Saturday's practice and qualification schedule were scraped after heavy downpours on Friday evening washed out the venue and flooded the track. On Sunday morning the sky was again ominous but the clouds dispersed and warm spring sunshine rapidly dried the course creating a rough, rutty and predominantly one-line track.

18 September 2006
CAS Honda rider Josh Coppins finished fifth at a sunny Ernee circuit and the Grand Prix of France for the last round of the FIM MX1 Motocross World Championship but his team-mate Ken de Dycker secured fourth position overall in the final points table. Saturday's practice and qualification timetable was shortened in an effort to preserve the course sprawled over one side of a valley setting with the fans crowded on the opposing bank for wide 100% views of the layout. The mud was drier and as a consequence rougher on Sunday as brighter weather conditions finally arrived.
