Three Cross Motorcycles will transfer UK distribution of Cagiva and MV Agusta motorcycles to Moto GB Ltd with effect from 1st January 2008. The decision was taken in order to free up resources at Three Cross Imports division to concentrate on their successful range of Peugeot Scooters, recently expanded to include machines of up to 500cc, with key new model launches due in the New Year.
A limited edition run of the iconic Mito 125 has been produced in a stunning Black Gold paint scheme and will arrive in the UK during October, bringing some much needed Latin heat as the weather cools down. The UK allocation for this version is only 30 pieces and as the price will be £3,499 OTR, which is £200 less than the standard Mito, demand is expected to be strong.
Cagiva have announced significant price adjustments on their 125cc models as part of an aggressive sales and marketing campaign to celebrate their return to Italian ownership. Founded in 1978, Cagiva has an incredible sporting pedigree and for 15 years was the only non-Japanese make in MotoGP. As part of the MV group of companies, along with Husqvarna, the historic brand came back under Italian control when Proton sold its majority holding to Gevi Spa at the end of 2005. Their 125cc machines offer learner riders an opportunity to enjoy motor sport derived technology and are noted for their impeccable road holding and braking.
