Visitors Increase by 14% for the 10th Dirt Bike Show

This year’s Dirt Bike Show was one of the best-attended in its 10-year spell at Stoneleigh Park, with 21,000 people flocking to the Coventry venue over four days, an increase of 14% over last year's figures. Many leading manufacturers chose the Show to exhibit key new models to the British public;

Top Men and Machines at the 2009 Dirt Bike Show

Celebrating their 10th consecutive show at Stoneleigh Park, the Dirt Bike Show organisers, Promoto have announced the dates for 2009, 5th - 8th November. Promoto are keen to ensure that this year's show will be bigger and better than ever. The Dirt Bike Show will once again set the standard and lead the way, falling before the International Motorcycle show held at the NEC. It also coincides with remembrance weekend and it is hoped that bike fans will use the weekend off racing to come and visit the Show to see what's on offer for the following season.

The 2008 Annual Dirt Bike Show has been deemed a huge success by the manufacturers, retailers and the paying public. In the middle of the credit crunch it was unknown how this year's show would fair up and despite the economic crisis the Dirt Bike Show pulled in around 18,000 people over the four day period.

The Department of Tourism and Leisure is heading to The Carole Nash NEC Bike Show 2008 in Birmingham in November and December to promote The Isle of Man to Motorsport fans. The DTL will be in the main hall and will be sharing a stand with Duke Marketing. The TT Marshals Association will also be represented on the stand throughout the duration as they look to promote the chance to marshal at the TT and Manx Grand Prix.

Charley Boorman to Attend Dirt Bike Show

The actor who has recently completed his successful series 'By Any Means' and who is a keen Off Road enthusiast is visiting the show to view what 2009 has to offer in the Off Road World. Royal Enfield unveiled their all-new BULLET 500 CLASSIC at Intermot in Cologne on 7th October 2008. Its predecessor, the 4-speed iron-barrelled 500cc Bullet, had been in continuous production for over 50 years and the original Royal Enfield Bullet was created in 1932, so this new model has an impressive heritage that stretches back over 76 years.

Unit Construction Fuel Injected Engines for Royal Enfield in 2009

Royal Enfield has developed a brand new fuel injected engine that will be fitted to all new models for 2009. Tough Euro 3 regulations require reduced carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon and nitrogen emissions, so Royal Enfield designed a completely new unit construction engine, with electronic fuel injection and a catalytic converter in the silencer.

The Annual Dirt Bike Show set to take place earlier than normal this year, 13th – 16th of November at Stoneleigh Park, have managed to secure the services of the World renowned Purple Helmets. The crazy group of bikers have been booked by the show to appear for the full duration to entertain the crowd and exhibitors alike in the Live Action Arena. The infamous Purple Helmets were set up a number of years ago and consist of a team of residents from the Isle of Man who set up their very own ‘unique’ stunt team. They have been demonstrating their ‘talents’ at various different events over the years and this year are pleased to be making a return appearance at the Dirt Bike Show.
