Sheffield Kickstarts the 2009 World Championship

There’s less than two weeks to go until Sheffield will kickstart the SPEA FIM World Indoor Trials Championship. The opening round will see the World’s best trial riders battle it out to be crowned ‘King of Sheffield’ and get their 2009 Championship hopes off to a flying start. On Saturday 3rd January 2009 Yorkshire’s Dougie Lampkin, eight times Sheffield winner, will be joined by fellow Yorkshire-man, Michael Brown, as they both look for victory on home soil.

Countdown to Action Packed Sheffield World Indoor Trial

The bass guitarist, from the legendary Welsh rock group, decided on the 1340cc Suzuki B-King for his regular trips through London to the recording studio and record company after falling for its futuristic styling and impressive performance.

The Hairy Bikers Cookbook is Coming Soon

Following on from this year’s popular Hairy Bikers BBC Two television series, the two big bearded bikers, Dave Myers and Simon King, are preparing to recreate their mixture of motorcycle tales and delicious delicacies from around the world with the launch of a new book, aptly named The Hairy Bikers Cookbook. The BBC television series was first broadcast in January, and enthusiasts regularly tuned in to see the lads ride bikes including BMW R1200 GS machines in a variety of destinations all over the world. Their love of food and travel soon became apparent as the pair rode in search of authentic culinary delights and diverse cultural experiences, including the world’s best barbeque (in Namibia) and the secret of the perfect stew (while touring Ireland).
