The world’s first production electric superbike, the Mavizen TTX02, was unveiled today (Tuesday 3 November) at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. The bike has been nicknamed a ‘laptop on wheels’ and is being produced by TTXGP founder, Azhar Hussain, an entrepreneur with a background in consumer electronics.
The TTXGP eGrandPrix is to launch zero-carbon motorcycle racing into the USA with an exhibition appearance at the annual American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) Vintage Motorcycle Days festival at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
Mission Motors launches today with news that its ‘Mission One’ bike – which it claims is the world’s fastest production all-electric motorcycle – will race in the TTXGP, the world’s first zero-carbon Grand Prix. The TTXGP is scheduled to be held at 10:45am on June 12th, 2009 as part of the Isle of Man TT races.
