Yamaha & Alpinestars Donate Haga Leathers to Riders For Health

The Yamaha Motor Italia Superbike team have kindly donated a unique set of Noriyuki Haga’s Alpinestars leathers to the Riders For Health charity to auction for their cause. The leathers were created for the 2008 Donington round of the World Superbike Championship as part of the Yamaha Livery Design Competition.

Hammers Race Jackets up for Auction

Following the Hammers successful League match against the Eastbourne Eagles that was screened live on Sky Sports on Monday 4th August the specially produced race jackets worn by the riders that evening are to be auctioned. Each of the riders has signed their race jacket, which shows the famous logo of our special meeting sponsor that evening - The Royal Air Force.

The appointment is further evidence of the Manheim Group’s joined-up approach to motorbike services, following the launch of Portfolio for Bikes earlier this year, which offers a range of retail marketing support for motorbike dealers. With previous experience as a motorcycle journalist, working for Classic Bike Guide, Streetfighters, Motorcycle Racer and, Motorcycle Classics, Cliff Walker then moved on to become Dealer Principal for Carrera Racing, an Italian specialist dealership and more recently Service Director for Spectrum Motorsports, a large Honda, Ducati and Aprilia Dealership in Los Angeles, USA.

Crescent Suzuki Supports Sportslink Children’s Charity

SPORTSLINK, a charity which aims to raise money to take children with life shortening conditions to major sports events, kicked off an on-line auction of sporting memorabilia on Friday 23rd November. One of the items up for grabs is two VIP passes to MotoGP on 22nd June 2008 at Donington Park with Crescent Suzuki providing the hospitality. The charity is sponsored by 25 leading sports organisations and commercial concerns which range from the England Cricket Board to DAF Trucks and include six Formula 1 race teams and three leading football clubs. It is also well supported by motorcycle racing and Crescent Suzuki is more than happy to assist with the fund raising.
