CSS Filmed for TV..., CSS Merchandise, CSS Bikes for Sale!

California Superbike School are to appear on Motors TV later this year. A range of merchandise featuring the CSS branding is available and the chance is here to find a reasonably priced Yamaha R6 or R1. If you were at the last few Rockingham and Brands Hatch schools, you couldn't have failed to notice a film crew following the progress of three students. Derek Redmond - former Olympic 400m runner, Al Fagan - Road tester and racer for Fast Bikes magazine and Sheela Hollywood - executive producer of the forthcoming programme. The programme will follow the students progress through the levels, and will also feature what it takes to become a CSS Coach. Interviews with Andy Ibbott, Leon Camier and Keith Code archive footage.

The California Superbike School have more dates for the fab courses! All of the dates are booking fast and we are approaching close to 75% full for the year. If you haven't taken the plunge and booked a Level 1 course with us yet, or still not got round to taking further levels - time is running out to perfect your Cornering for the warm sunny summer ahead ;-)

CSS Latest Availability

Bookings are at an all time high for 2008 with schools sold out for April and early May. There are some Level 1 spaces available on the 27th/28th May, although if you are looking for Level 2, 3 & 4, the earliest date possible is 10th June.

With only two groups of 16 students, and a ratio of 2:1 student/coach, video reviews, classroom and off track drills available plus six 30 minute track sessions to hone your skills each day. Andy Ibbott On Riding Hopkins’ Rizla Suzuki GSV-R

Rizla Suzuki MotoGP was joined at Valencia by Andy Ibbott. Andy is one of the most respected motorcycling journalists in Britain. He has recently had published Performance Riding Techniques, a book dedicated to the skills required for track riding. He is also race coach to former 125cc World Champion Thomas Luthi and an active trainer and Director of the California Superbike School . Here is his opinion on riding the Rizla Suzuki GSV-R.

Phillip Island Race Report For Thomas Luthi And Sandro Cortese

For once we were lucky with the weather at Phillip Island and it seems that the cold air really suited the Honda! Everyone arrived early at the island and we thought it would be easy to go around and do our regular track walk/scooter ride to take a look at the track and see if there where any changes from last year and to start with a basic reference points map and an idea of what was needed for attack angles on some of the turns.

If any of you were watching the final qualifying sessions for the GP at the weekend then you will know that the rain took a hold once more and was so bad that the MotoGP bikes didn’t even get to ride! But that wasn’t enough to stop the 125s... Well some of them...
