Alstare Engineering Superb Debut For Max
04 September 2006
There was good news for Alstare Engineering Corona Extra. Max Neukirchner started in almost last position in the first race, but rode steadily throughout the 22-lapper to take a superb sixth place and ten championship points. Despite the terrible conditions and several lurid slides, the young German somehow kept the bike upright and ignored all the mayhem around him. At the end of the 22-lapper, he was less than half a second off fourth place. In race two, he was one of the riders caught out by a damp patch. He lost control and fell, fortunately without injury, but all in all it was a good first race for Max.

Alstare Suzuki's Fantastic Yukio Does The Double!
23 July 2006
Team Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra rider Yukio Kagayama completed his first ever WSBK double in fantastic style at Brno today. Michel Fabrizio (Honda) took third after passing both Haga and Yukio’s team mate Troy Corser in the final two laps. Troy suffered grip problems throughout the 20-lapper, but still managed to finish fifth, just behind Haga.

Team Alstare Working Together Superbly
22 July 2006
Team Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra riders Troy Corser and Yukio Kagayama will start tomorrow’s pair of 20-lap races alongside each other on the second row of the grid. For Troy that is a big relief as this morning he was struggling to get into the top fifteen after suffering problems with wheelspin and lack of grip. But, in the afternoon untimed session he tried Yukio’s set-up and immediately began to get more comfortable with his bike. Troy had missed the recent Brno test due to illness and the information that Yukio and his team provided made up for some of that lost time. Thanks to the info, Troy managed to finish fifth quickest in the 16-rider Superpole shoot-out.

Team Alstare'S Yukio’s Best Day So Far!
26 June 2006
Team Alstare Suzuki Corona rider Yukio Kagayama had his best day of the year so far, taking a superb podium in race one and finishing fifth in race two. His third place in race one was by far his best result of the season and, but for tyre problems in race two, another podium would’ve been on the cards. In contrast, reigning Superbike World Champion Troy Corser had a day to forget. A crash in both races left him without any points to show and he has now slipped to fourth place in the championship.

24 June 2006
Team Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra rider Troy Corser was over a second under the official lap record but still had to settle for the second fastest time in Superpole at Misano this afternoon. A slightly cautious start in the first turn lost Troy some time but, from then on in, he stormed back into contention, losing out by the narrowest of margins in the end to James Toseland (Honda). Third quickest is Andrew Pitt (Yamaha), with Steve Martin (Petronas) fourth. Three out of the first four are Aussies, but surprisingly series leader Troy Bayliss is not amongst them.

Team Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra News, Disappointment In Silverstone
29 May 2006
It was a disappointing day for Team Alstare at Silverstone today, with reigning Superbike World Champion Troy Corser failing to finish the first race and only able to take sixth in the second. He was hit from behind at the first turn on the opening lap and crashed, but fortunately the race was red-flagged and he was able to take part in the restart. He crashed in the final chicane on the second lap, but remounted and got going again - albeit in last place. But after a series of lurid slides, he was forced to retire. His team mate Yukio Kagayama was riding in severe discomfort after crashing heavily yesterday, but grittily kept going to finish fourteenth in race one and thirteenth in race two. Team Alstare Engineering Corona Extra rider Fabien Foret had a day to forget. A DNF after heavy fall in race one - when he hit his head hard - detuned him for race two and, because he could not keep his concentration, he retired after fifteen laps.
