Race Marshalls Use Yamaha Machines At MotoGP, WSB and BSB

Yamaha UK are pleased to continue their support of the MCRCB, the British Superbike organisers, this year supplying Aerox and XT660R machines for use as paddock control and rider pick-up vehicles. These machines have already been put to good use at the very wet opening BSB rounds picking up stricken riders at Brands Hatch and Donington. Factory racers of all types will also benefit at the two World Superbike rounds and MOTOGP events held in the UK.

New Yamaha Aerox 50 Reflects Racing Heritage

The Yamaha Aerox YQ50 sports-scooter is now available in a radical new Yellow speedblock design in tribute to Yamaha’s racing heritage. The yellow, black and white design dates back to the original Yamaha US racing colours which were used in road racing, dirt-tracking and MX. The design became famous when Kenny Roberts won the 500c World Championship in 1978/9. This was then replicated at Yamaha’s 50th Anniversary celebrations when used by Valentino Rossi at the 2005 Laguna Seca US GP. The Aerox is already a favourite paddock bike for Yamaha race teams and this new design will only increase its popularity in the pits and on the streets.
