Bardney road race specialist Ivan Lintin scored a double podium in the two 250cc class races at Scarborough at the Cock o’the North meeting around the famous Oliver’s Mount course. Lintin notched up a second and third place finish on the McKinstry Racing 250cc Yamaha before switching to the Sunfish UK 600cc machine, which he took to a third and fourth place in the 600cc class.
