Broc Parkes put in a strong performance to take second in today's final qualifying session ahead of the ninth round of the World Supersport Championship. Parkes was not satisfied with yesterday's provisional eighth place on the grid and showed his determination in this morning's practice session as he knocked almost 0.8 seconds off yesterday's time to go third. Track temperatures were only marginally cooler than yesterday but this was enough to provide that bit more grip required in the second qualifying session of the weekend.
