In scorchingly hot conditions, Team Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra rider Xavier Simeon continued his run of good form with a superb second place at Brands Hatch today. And if it were not for a poor start and a problem getting past Claudio Corti (Yamaha), there is little doubt that Xavi would have challenged Niccolo Canepa (Ducati) for the victory.
