Austrian Roland Resch continued his domination of the wet conditions at Donington today to take pole position for tomorrow’s fifth round of the Suzuki GSX-R Cup. In the end, he finished two tenths of a second ahead of his nearest rival, David Juhasz, with Arturo Tizon third and Alastair Fagan fourth.

Roland Resch, 1st, 1:47.249:

"The conditions were more difficult today, especially when the track started to dry a bit and then it became difficult to see which parts were dry and which parts were wet. You really had to concentrate throughout each and every lap, otherwise it would have been very easy to crash.
"For me, the bike worked very well and I still like this track so much, even thought he conditions were not so easy. The new section has good grip and the old section does not, so you have to be careful what you are doing. I want to thank my team for the great job they have done and I would like to say another thank you tomorrow with a win!"
