Danny Webb (14th):“The race was good for me, the position isn’t so good. I got court up in a first lap crash again. I stayed on but had more of less to stop because if I didn’t I would have ran another rider over. So by this time I was a long way behind the others. I pushed hard and made my way up. I got up to the 14th and stayed there. I am happy with the race. The first lap and the first two days weren’t good and at the end I have some points so now we can go full gas for the rest of the season.”
Hugo van den Berg (24th):“My start was good. Because of a crash in front of me I could win a lot of positions. After that it was very hard for me to keep up with them. I made several mistakes what cost me time. I was faster than my qualifying time and I’m happy with that. This was the maximum I could do this weekend. I’m really looking forward to the oversea Grand Prix’ and I hope I get my form back which I had in the GP of Germany.”
Stevie Bonsey (DNF): “Well, I guess it wasn’t my weekend again! I had a good warm-up session and was faster than my qualifying time. In the race I got off a good start and got past Gadea. I started to charge to the front but in lap three the computer broke which put me out of the race for two mechanicals in a row! But next weekend is my home GP so I’m going to push hard!”
