Gearlink Kawasaki makes the long trip north of the border for round eight of the 2008 Fuchs/Silkolene British Supersport championship that takes place at Knockhill in Scotland on Sunday, August 10.
Following the outing in the World Supersport event at Brands Hatch last week, the team is all fired up for the annual visit to the challenging 1.2713-mile Knockhill circuit, which, with its tight corners and short straights should suit the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R and enable the two riders, Chris Martin and Steven Neate to collect a clutch of championship points for the team.
As we enter the final few rounds of the championship Chris Martin is nicely placed in joint fifth position on 61 points and a top result this weekend would edge him nearer the top three. Steve Neate is currently 16th in the rider points and he too could move upwards if he can secure a strong result from Knockhill.
Michael de Bidaph - Team Owner/Manager
"After the disappointing weekend at Brands Hatch I shall be looking for good results from both of my riders, especially as this is a circuit where we should be more competitive than some of the other riders."
