In this day and age of crazy fuel prices and increasing congestion, more and more people are looking at getting on two wheels to help them break free. One if those who is taking to motorcycling is TV presenter Dominic Littlewood. Living in South West London, Dominic has sold his gas guzzling Chevy SSR and Plymouth Prowler to get back onto two wheels.

He grew up on Yamaha machinery, owning a TY50, FS1E and YZ250 just to name a few. Passing his test back in April, he has just taken charge of a Yamaha MT-03. With a punchy 660cc four-stroke engine, this middle-weight Yamaha is the perfect tool for getting around town economically and when the moment takes you, to get out on the open road for a fun blast. The quirky low riding position with such a powerful street presence, really appealed to Dominic's taste for not following the norm.

He was quick to point out his desire to have another Yamaha;

"I am a bit of a petrol head but I can't justify four wheels any more. The MT-03 is the perfect bike for me as it's nimble and punchy and it's got a low seat height - plus it's got gallons of style!"

"Personally, I am getting more and more concerned about my carbon footprint so riding bikes is one of the ways I can put something back. In return, I get to travel more efficiently and give less cash to The Man in fuel costs. I am really looking forward to helping promote the benefits of motorcycling and getting out and about over the summer."

Ha Ha i like dom but he dont stick to his own rules.
At the do at earls court or the excel 1 i cant remember, he bought i believe full leathers maybe suit and broke all his own rules, i.e. commenting how he liked it as soon as he put it on b4 he even tried to haggle and the bloke on the stall got him when he asked for discount and he didnt get any.
Sorry dom, Dont get done, get dom.
I know this cos i work at the do's and the blokes on the city of leather stall are a great bunch and we always have a laugh and a banter.

Saying that, keep up with the bike stuff m8.

LOL Choprocker, I was just wondering if he managed to haggle a good price on the bike or leathers etc... I guess its easier to haggle on stuff you don't want so much, if your looking at a bike like a kid in a candy store then your not gonna get any discount.

At least its another celebrity who has given motorbikes the thumbs up

I wonder if the MT-03 is any lighter on fuel than my FZ6S? Surprised at how thirsty she is or maybe it's just my riding style and the £1.20 per litre??

forgotten pwd?
