TomTom, the leading supplier of navigation solutions, will be demonstrating its latest range of consumer portable navigation devices, as well as its fleet navigation and tracking solutions for the business market, at the British International Motor Show 2008 (ExCeL, 23 July - 3 August)

TomTom GO x30 - navigation at the high end

The high-specification TomTom GO x30 series comes with a fresh new look and high quality user interface. It features TomTom's award- winning software, the latest navigation features and content including IQ Routes(tm), advanced lane guidance and Map Share(tm), as well as Bluetooth(r) hands-free connectivity. Drivers also have easy access to detailed traffic information through the RDS-TMC Traffic Receiver, which is included in the box in the Traffic models. TomTom's innovative IQ Routes(tm) technology calculates routes based on real average road speeds, rather than maximum speed limits, taking into account any roundabouts, speed bumps or traffic lights - and whether it is a weekday or weekend - and ensures the driver of the smartest route. Five options are available: TomTom GO 530 and GO 530 Traffic (UK/Ireland), TomTom GO 730 and GO 730 Traffic (31 Western and Eastern European countries) and TomTom GO 930 Traffic (Europe plus US/Canada)

New TomTom ONE and XL - for ultimate portability

TomTom has redesigned the TomTom ONE and TomTom XL and introduced a brand new mounting solution - the EasyPort(tm) mount - which can be left on the device and folded flat after use. The complete unit, including the mount,  is then small enough to fit into a shirt pocket, bag or pocket when the driver leaves the vehicle. For even clearer voice instructions, both the TomTom ONE and TomTom XL are equipped with a completely revised audio system, ensuring navigation instructions are loud and clear at all times. Truly compact and portable, the TomTom ONE comes with a 3.5 inch touch screen LCD, while the TomTom XL boasts a 4.3 inch widescreen LCD, for those who prefer a larger display. Available with UK/Ireland or European mapping, and with option Traffic information.

TomTom RIDER 2 - navigation for bikers

A new version of TomTom RIDER, TomTom's navigation device for use on motorbikes, is now available. New features include TomTom Map Share(tm), extensive safety features such as the Help Me! emergency menu, TomTom's latest map guarantee and pre-installed Tele Atlas maps of Western and Eastern Europe. Bikers also now have easy access to dedicated trip statistics. This allows them to see average and maximum speeds per journey, total miles travelled and distance from home. The TomTom RIDER 2 comes complete with a high quality Cardo scala-rider(r) Bluetooth(r) headset for in-helmet spoken instructions, and is waterproof to IPX-7 standards. Available with UK/Ireland or European mapping.

All TomTom consumer products come with TomTom HOME, a free desktop application for PC/Mac - essential for keeping the TomTom device up to date at all times. Through TomTom HOME, customers can easily download new software versions, as well as the latest maps and safety camera database.
