The team at Gearlink Kawasaki have put the disappointment of Mallory Park behind them and concentrated all their efforts into producing a strong set of results from their return visit to Oulton Park on Sunday.

The second half of the season beckons the two Gearlink Kawasaki riders, Chris Martin and Steven Neate and the pair will be going all out for glory in round seven of the Fuchs/Silkolene British Supersport championship.

On the last visit to the Cheshire circuit back in May, Chris Martin rode to a creditable fourth place while Steven Neate produced his equal best result to date with a fine 10th place to collect a further six championship points.

Both riders are fully refreshed following the three-week break and are raring to go at one of the most demanding circuits on the racing calendar. But Chris and Steven are keen enthusiasts of the 2.692-mile undulating circuit and are confident they can each pull off a top result for Gearlink Kawasaki.

I am looking forward to the Oulton Park weekend as we were strong there earlier this year and with a bit of luck on our side we should be able to compete at the front.

Free practice and qualifying take place on Friday and Saturday ahead of Sunday’s 16-lap British Supersport race, which is set for a start at 3.35pm and will benefit from the usual live coverage by British Eurosport 2.
