TABOO Motorsport Gearing Up for Exciting 125cc Climax

After a string of top 20 results from both riders the team’s youngest rider Dan Moreton secured his first ever British Championship point by claiming 15th position last time out at Mallory Park. Since then the youngster from Northamptonshire has embarked on a new chapter in his racing career and will contest the final races under a new guise.

TABOO Motorsport’s team owner and other rider Michael Hill had this to say:

“Dan has progressed superbly compared to his results last year. He has qualified for every race and with our help and the expertise of TABOO Motorsport both on and off track has developed well over the first half of the 2008 season achieving his first ever British Championship point (and the first for TABOO Motorsport in 2008 at Mallory Park. The team and I are happy that we have assisted in his development as a rider and we wish Dan all the very best for the remainder of 2008 and for his future career.”

TABOO Motorsport have over the past 3 years developed into a well known team within the British Championship paddock and with team owner / rider working within both Moto GP and World Superbikes from a media point of view have a strong connection with many of the top teams and riders.

“From the team’s point of view we are continuing to develop our machine and looking ahead to Oulton Park this coming weekend (where I had been battling for 12th earlier in the season) I am confident that I can open my points tally. In addition we will continue to work closely with Pete Banks who continues to give us fantastic technical support, Alan Green who as many will recall almost won the 125cc British Championship on several occasions and all of our sponsors. We have some exciting prospects in terms of ‘one off’ riders from the continent as well as several youngsters from within the Superteen series that we are talking to so watch this space.”

The team are also exploring the possibility of other classes for 2009 both in the UK and in Europe.
