The most successful team in Arena-Essex’s 25 year history have agreed to turn out for a special one night only appearance at Paul Hurry’s ‘Battle Of Lakeside’ at the Arena-Essex Raceway on 18th July.
The members of the treble winning team will all be there on the night when Speedway honours one of its nice guys. One or two of them may even be tempted back on a bike for a few laps.
Bo Petersen, Andy Galvin, Troy Pratt, Alan Mogridge, Brian Karger and Colin White along with school boy Hurry swept all before them in the second tier of Speedway racing and this was after the Hammers almost went out of business that season before a wheel was turned in anger.
Long serving Hammers fans will also be glad to see the Arena-Essex name back in the public eye again after they where renamed ‘Lakeside’ in 2007.
