Bardney racer Ivan Lintin was racing over two consecutive weekends in Ireland where he scored two top seven finishes in the Athea races before moving on to compete in the Skerries 100 road races where he rode to another two strong finishes.

At Athea in the south of Ireland he qualified in second place on the McKinstry Racing 250cc machine and rode through to complete the eight lap affair in third place, breaking the lap record in the process.

He went on to qualify in 10th place in the open class race where he rode the BTS Suzuki Superbike through to complete the eight laps in 10th place before contesting the nine-lap grand final where he notched up an impressive seventh place finish.

The following weekend saw him compete in the Skerries 100 road races where he qualified the 250cc machine in seventh place to complete the eight-lap race in sixth position.

Lintin then jumped aboard the BTS Superbike to qualify in 21st place in the highly competitive class and completed the eight laps in 16th position.

This weekend sees the county rider travel the short distance to Scarborough where he is to contest the Cock O’the North road races at the famous Oliver’s Mount course and has entered the 250cc, 600cc and 750 classes.
