Skidmarx have created two screens and a rear hugger specifically for Aprilia’s innovative 850 Mana.

This automatic motorcycle has been praised for its versatility and the addition of a screen makes a significant contribution to rider comfort on long journeys (the Mana has a claimed tank range of over 150 miles) while a hugger will enhance the bike’s appearance and provide extra shock and linkage protection too.

Owners can choose between a compact fly screen, that measures 23cm wide by 36cm high, and a more substantial touring style item, which is taller and wider at 77cm wide x 52cm top to bottom.  Both are manufactured in the UK from 4mm acrylic, which is 33% thicker than the company’s double bubble screens and offers better rigidity for windshields and are and supplied complete with tailor made steel fittings.  The smaller screen is available in clear, light or dark tinted options and retails for £59.95 and the large version comes in clear or light tint, for £105.95. A matching headlight cover, also made from acrylic and fixed by scotch lock pads, sells for £19.50.

Skidmarx manufacture their huggers in the UK from hand laid GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic, AKA fibreglass), or carbon fibre.  The Mana hugger attaches to existing mounting points on the Aprilia’s swinging arm for a straightforward and tidy fit, without the need for any modification.  These robust huggers are supplied in black as standard with all necessary fittings and simple to follow instructions.  The Aprilia Mana hugger in GRP weighs just 600g and retails for £79.95 inc. VAT, while the carbon fibre version, which is approximately half that weight, costs £129.95.
