The Fun Lovin' Criminals have confirmed as the headline billing at this year’s biggest biker party, The Bulldog Bash, which takes place on August 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th at the Shakespeare County Raceway, Long Marston, nr Stratford On Avon, Warwickshire.
Originating from New York City, The Fun Lovin’ Criminals live stage show is world renowned as a riotous extravaganza, rich with audience participation - best known for their hit single Scooby Snacks, which featured samples from films by Quentin Tarantino - their music is an alternative blend of many styles, most notably hip-hop, rock and blues, their songs deal with everyday life on the mean streets of New York, drugs, organized crime and poli.
Commenting on the Bulldog Bash, drummer, Frank Benbini said "We are all well psyched to be playing at the Bulldog again, I’m especially looking forward to the custom show, the Bulldog is a one-off, you just can’t beat bikes and loose women for a good time. We are developing a real special set to get the whole place jumping, it’s gonna be a rocking party feel”.
The music doesn’t stop at the Bulldog Bash, the main stage will be complimented by a new rock marquee called Area 81 featuring up and coming bands and rock DJ’s, but if rock isn’t your thing then the mighty dance tent should keep you on your feet until dawn. Other attractions at the Bulldog Bash include one of Europe’s best respected custom shows, with bike builders from the UK, Europe and beyond competing for the coveted Bulldog Bash best in show award; visitors can expect an amazing array of custom machinery, from high end art-bikes, to classic bobbers, trikes and choppers along side stunning classic bikes and 50’s style hot rods.
The Bulldog’s live entertainment doesn’t get much better than the world famous drag strip, Shakespeare County Raceway will once again see visitors battling their peers on the run-wot-you-brung open track sessions, running along side professional drag racing displays from speed legends including Tim Blakemore with his new Kawasaki sponsored ZZR1400 funny bike and Frenchman Eric Teboul’s insanely fast rocket bike.
