Joe Dickinson heads to Snetterton in Norfolk to contest the fifth round of the 2008 Fuchs-Silkolene British Supersport Championship this weekend (13th-15th June).
Last time out at Donington Park, Joe crossed the finish line on his Truck Links Yamaha just outside of a point scoring position. The 24-year old will be keen to make amends at the 1.95 mile Norfolk circuit on Sunday. After a recent test session at Cadwell Park, Joe has started to regain the confidence that saw him listed as an outside bet for podium positions during the close season.
Sunday's 18-lapper scheduled for 15.40, is preceded with Free Practice on Friday and two qualifying sessions on Saturday.
Joe Dickinson: "I need to get back to form this weekend before the season goes away from me. I have seen how fast the Yamaha can go and it is just a case of increasing my confidence levels to edge me up into the top ten and some solid points. The test at Cadwell was beneficial and now it's my chance to repay the team for all of their hard work this season."
Rob McElnea, Team Principal: "Joe needs to dig deep as we start to get near the mid-point of the season and he finds it's over before he's got going. He has the ability and the bike to run at the front. He just needs to be confident in his own ability and he'll be up there challenging for top honours."
